Wash, health & climate action

Welcome to Health and Water Foundation

Health and Water Foundation (HWF) is a Kenyan nonprofit organization founded in 2003 with the mission of improving the overall well-being of underserved communities through targeted interventions in health, water, sanitation, and climate change resilience. Through various initiatives, HWF works towards promoting education for young girls and supporting poor primary schools by providing clean water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education. HWF prioritizes early childhood education and works closely with communities to build capacity and eradicate poverty. HWF is committed to creating sustainable solutions that address the pressing needs of climate action as climate change, water, and health are interconnected issues, and dispropriately affect marginalized communities.
